Entertainment For Our Feathered Friends Parrot Toys

If you have noticed that your parrot is not pretty much in the good mood even though the wet ahs told you that it is fine, it is pretty probable that it is bored and/or depressed. Animals feel pretty much like human beings, and birds, being such sensitive animals that are meant to fly free in the sky, much more.

Although, parrots do not fly, being locked in a cage is not amusing for them at all eve if they have all the food and attention of the world. When they have the companion of a parrot of the opposite sex or of other many parrots, things might change much more for them. But if you can only afford and take care of only one parrot, then you have to  enhance its living place with things that keep them awake and entertained like parrot toys.

Our feathered friends need more than just a swinger or a branch and a cup with water. They need a space that resembles like a forest, or something close to it. You may consider reallocating its cage outdoors when it is hot season, and when it is cold, still try to keep it in a place  that is wide enough and that allow them to receive day light and air.

You can find online many bird toy games, handmade bird toys ideas and edible perches that contain real bee pollen and vitamins that can be absorbed by your parrot; others are made of beads or with different fun little bird toy parts that you can hang inside its cage of over it. If you can allow yourself having a room for your parrot(s) where it/they can be around freely, you can hang up these perches from the ceiling and offer them a good time during which it/they can play around and do a more dynamic activity.

You may also make your bird toys and try making these parrot perches. Just gather beads and seeds and put them inside a basket with two ropes by each side and hang them inside the cage. It is cheap and simple, although it only lasts for short time.
